THE LIFE OF THE SPIRIT

2019
Commissioned Artwork Rabobank,
Utrecht, NL

The Life of the Spirit draws inspiration from Kandinsky’s Point and Line to Plane,
in which he researched the interaction between art, nature and human life. He developed a language, where geometrical, physical, aesthetic and spiritual concepts coexist naturally.
Tee created first lines, then shapes, following bodily movements, which were then translated
into two fountain objects for water to flow and simulate the unfolding of the human soul or the
trajectory of the life of the spirit. The artwork is a tribute to a Rabobank employee who tragically lost her life near the building.
